Excited to present our new Deep-dive series

Salaam alaykum,

Join us this Ramadan for a collective contemplation of surah Yasin. In these sessions, we’ll explore what the text is telling us. We’ll do taddabur of the verses and contemplate on their meanings.

We’ll ask: What is Allah saying? What are the implications? What guidance can I derive for my personal life?

The sessions are free and recommended for teenagers to young adults (18-30 years).

Taking place Sundays during Ramadan: March 9, 16, and 23, 3-5 pm

Burhan’s first Sheffield workshop

The Burhan Institute of Research proudly presents its AI-based workshop to generate visuals of the Qur’an.

This workshop is an opportunity to join a dynamic community of like-minded individuals interested in making their religion relevant in everyday life.

The overarching goal of this workshop is to make the Qur’an relevant to one’s life, to live by it, and to draw closer to our Creator.

Visualizing the Qur’an – Sheffield Workshop

The Burhan Institute of Research is proud to announce its very first workshop event in Sheffield, this Ramadan, March 26th, from 1 to 4pm, in The Wave building.

In this innovative workshop, we’ll explore and give meaning to some of the verses we recite on a daily basis. We’ll then use AI to transcribe these meanings into visuals and create a storyboard of the surah. The goal is to use these visuals as anchors to facilitate memorisation of these verses, improve concentration while reciting them, and help build a stronger connection with the Qur’an.

This workshop will focus on surat al Fatiha.
