Resuming our tadabbur – DeepDive sessions!

Assalam alaykum,

Welcome to the Deep-Dive Tadabbur sessions.

Following from our launch during Ramadan, we are now resuming our activities. These session will take place in person, every Saturday, from 6 to 8pm. Children are welcome and snacks will be provided!
We are currently exploring the verses of surah Yaseen.

Because the goal is to derive meanings and implications, each session has its own gems. There is no Arabic requirement nor to have attended previous sessions in order to benefit from forthcoming ones. The goal is to help each other make the Qur’an relevant in our lives by diving into it.

Only make sure they register here to receive location details.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,
Adrien & Amina

Eid Mubarak!

Bismillahi ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Eid Mubarak from Burhan Institute of Research!
While Ramadan may be over, the worship of Allah continues. May your Shawwal be better than your
Sha’baan. And may Allah accept our deeds.

Ramadan was a busy month for Burhan!
We launched our Tadabbur series of Surah Yasin. Over three sessions, we slowly contemplated the verses, moving beyond the literal interpretation to reach their subtleties and explore their implications in our daily lives. Watch this space if you are interested in taddabur. We will resume these sessions after a short break.

During Ramadan, we also held our first ever Qur’an Visualization workshop. In this workshop we used an AI image generator to give visualisation to our tadabbur of Surah Fatihah.

Keep an eye out for our 99 names of Allah workshop series. We will undertake a slow contemplation of the names of Allah through science and scientific phenomenon.

As you can see, there is an exciting line up of activities to come at Burhan.
Hope to see you there!
